hoping
to involve with the Vitual Office
Course Outline
We provide or tell you where to collect the basic software,
E-mail,
FTP, IRC, Netscape, HTML Editor, Gopher, Archie, News, and make
the necessary connections. We guide you through a basic
introduction
to the Internet and Web, the history, the language and concepts.
Individuals or groups create their own group and individual
homepages.
Lesson 1 Each group picks a group name, for example
"the internet merchant adventurers". You learn to use
a HTML editor
The details will be posted by Sept. 5th
Lesson 2 Learning to manipulate files by FTP such as
uploading your homepages to the Webmaster for posting After
you post a home page(s) to the server they are good for a
year.
Lesson 3 Members experiment with more advanced HTML
techniques Lesson 4
The group (adventurers) meet on IRC for an hour
a week in a chat room to learn
Lesson 5
The adventurers set up FTP files in their
work area so they can down load their pages, edit, and replace
file, homepages, graphics, and data.
Lesson 6 You will learn to set up e-mail, newsletters,
newsgroup and message systems BBS.
Lesson 7
The work group creates work group product
and reports using shared data, graphics and text just as a real
work group.
Lesson 8 and 9 After open discussion the group picks
a project: Graphic editors, , MOO, MUD, Video capture, CuSeeMe,
Eudora, search engines use "wiredbrain", or other projects.
Lesson 10 and 11 A general study of interactively on
the internet - World Chat, INN, AoL, MS network, and the
interface
with MS Office, Novells Perfect Office, Netscape, Winsock and
other topics of interest.
Lesson 12 to 15 are all part of the Final report which
is a set of home pages that will help those who follow and the
general WWW public about all the topics (1 to 12).
The trail has
been blazed for those who follow. When several groups are working
at the same time they can visit and help each other. Groups start
and finish at anytime.
Regular Fees: $1000.00 (Includes Home page for one year,
$100 a year there after if you want to leave them with us)
The
price includes Editorial and graphic expert assistance, licensed
software, materials et al. (Students and other may quality for
scholarships and we have work study for $10 hour so you can earn
the major part of the fee)
There are group discounts. If paid
in advance $750 or four payments of $250. Starrt anytime there
is a minion. Each lesson above earns up to 8 points, plus bonus
activities = 100 points for a certificate as Webmaster I.
The global Village school house is not accredited by anyone but
if we have the demand we could get certificates from distance
education associations, registrar as a private school in Florida,
and become established. I have Ph.D. and know only a little,
